Most of the products on offer are available to buy in the amount that is shown on the product page. The website will not let You add more than is available to the cart. If You need more than is available - please contact us!

When You confirm Your order, the products in Your cart are reserved for Your order.

If You wish to pay via bank transfer, it is preferable to do it within 3 business days. This term can be made longer by request.

Discounts

LatvianCrafts has 1 way for You to receive automatic discounts: The discount will be applied based on Your previous order history that is made through Your registered user profile.

Receiving the discounts:

1. Register a user profile on our website and receive the following discount based on previously made order amounts:

Total amount of previously made orders is 50€ or more - 2% discount for items in cart 

Total amount of previously made orders is 150€ or more - 4% discount for items in cart

Total amount of previously made orders is 300€ or more - 6% discount for items in cart

Total amount of previously made orders is 400€ or more - 8% discount for items in cart

Total amount of previously made orders is 500€ or more - 10% discount for items in cart

 
2. Using discount codes and gift certificates.

Remote Agreement

 

1. 1. Overall terms and contact information. 

 

This agreement is concluded between the company “Jūrmalas Studija” Sia, registration number: 40003882260, legal address: Skolas street 38-84, Jurmala, LV-2016, Latvia (hereinafter referred to as the Seller) and the Buyer, who makes a purchase in the www.LatvianCrafts.lv online store (hereinafter LatvianCrafts.lv) Remote agreement is applied to all orders made in LatvianCrafts.lv

1.1 When placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he is familiar with the terms contained in this Agreement and agrees to them. The buyer undertakes to familiarize himself with the terms of the Agreement every time he makes a purchase.

1.2. The seller reserves the right to unilaterally amend and supplement the terms of the Agreement at any time. These Terms were last updated on March 17, 2024.

1.3. When placing an order, the Seller needs the Buyer's consent to process personal data, their processing is explained in the "Privacy Policy" section.

2. Placing an order

 

2.1. Orders are placed through the website www.LatvianCrafts.lv to purchase goods, the Buyer can choose to make a purchase with or without registration.

2.2. The seller processes the buyer's orders during his working hours, which are indicated in the "Contacts" section of LatvianCrafts.lv. The Seller sends the Buyer an invoice for accepting the order by e-mail. If the Buyer does not receive a confirmation invoice, then the order has not been accepted.

2.3. The buyer must provide true information about himself when placing an order. If at the time of the order the Buyer's data is incomplete or there is reason to believe that the data is fictitious, the Seller reserves the right not to accept the order for execution.

2.4. The reservation of the product is 5 working days from the moment of the order, the order is canceled if the order is not paid within 5 working days.

2.5. The buyer has the right to cancel his order until the moment of delivery of the goods, by notifying the Seller and specifying the order number.

2.6. The Seller is not responsible for the consequences if, due to the characteristics of the screen of the Buyer's computer or other device, the image of the goods in the online store differs from the appearance of the goods in nature.

 

3. Product prices and discount system

 

3.1. Product prices on LatvianCrafts.lv are indicated in euro currency.

3.2. All LatvianCrafts.lv product prices are indicated with value added tax (VAT). Books and magazines with 12% VAT, other goods – 21% VAT. The price of the product is as it is indicated at the time of placing the order until the obligations are fully fulfilled.

3.3. The product delivery fee is not included in the specified product price.

3.4. Only LatvianCrafts.lv registered Buyers can get an automatic discount.

 

The discount accumulation is formed from the value of all previous purchases. The higher the order total, the higher the available discount.

 

 

3.4.1. Discounts do not apply to shipping costs.

3.4.2. The buyer has the right to use discount codes and gift cards. 

 

4. Payment Procedure

 

4.1. When placing an order, the buyer can choose the method of payment for the order - bank transfer, payment with Paypal or cash on delivery upon receiving the product in person at the Seller's office.

4.1.1.  Bank Transfer – after placing the order, a letter containing the order number and the Seller's bank account to which the transfer should be made is sent to the e-mail address specified by the Buyer. When making a transfer, it is mandatory to specify the order number.

4.1.2. Paypal – after completing the order, the customer is directed to the Paypal payment portal, where the Buyer can pay for the order using his bank card or the money in his Paypal account.

4.1.3. Post-payment – If LatvianCrafts.lv section "Contacts"[3] states that orders can be picked up in person, they can also be paid at the time of receipt at the Seller's office, by contacting the Seller in advance about the date and time of receiving the goods.

 

5. Receiving and delivery of goods

5.1. The goods are handed over to the Buyer only after full payment of the order.

5.2. When ordering goods, the Buyer can choose one of the methods of receiving and delivering the goods: Postal package, Omniva parcel machine, courier delivery or receiving the goods at the office.

5.3. Receiving the goods at the office - When ordering goods at Latviancrafts.lv, in the field about the delivery of the goods, the Buyer can indicate "Receive the goods at the office". When the order is completed, the Seller sends an SMS to the phone number specified by the Buyer and the date and time of receiving the goods is agreed upon. If the Buyer's order is paid for, it may be stored for up to 30 days at the Seller's office. If the order is not picked up within this time period, it will be canceled by returning the order amount to the Buyer. If the order has not been refunded, it is stored for 5 working days, after which it is canceled if the Buyer and the Seller have not agreed on a pick-up date.

5.4. Courier deliveries are provided only in Jurmala - Riga territory. The date, time and place of delivery are agreed when the Seller communicates with the Buyer.

5.5. Delivery times, terms, costs and conditions are indicated in LatvianCrafts.lv section "Delivery"[4] (http://www.latviancrafts.lv/shop/auxpage_piegade/).

5.6. In the event that the goods ordered by the Buyer are not available in the warehouses and they must be specially ordered from the manufacturer, as well as in other unforeseen cases, the Seller informs the Buyer about the possible delay in delivery. In the event that the Buyer has lost interest in purchasing the product due to its delivery deadline, the Buyer has the right to cancel the Order and the amount paid by the Buyer (including transport costs) is returned to the Buyer.

5.7. It is the responsibility of the buyer to follow the correctness of the contact information when placing the order in order to avoid delays and misunderstandings when delivering the goods. The Seller and the Courier are not responsible for delays and misunderstandings in the delivery of goods, which occurred in the event of data inaccuracies when placing an order.

5.8. If delivery to the Buyer is not possible due to the Buyer's fault, and the Buyer has not notified in time about the impossibility of accepting the product, the Buyer shall bear the cost of re-delivery of the product.

5.9. The buyer undertakes to accept the goods himself by presenting a valid identity document. If the Buyer does not accept the goods himself, even though the goods have been delivered to the address indicated by the Buyer, the Seller has the right to hand over the goods to another person located at the indicated address, and the Buyer will not have the right to make any claims to the Seller about the delivery of the goods to the wrong person.

5.10. After receiving the goods, the Buyer checks the compliance of the delivered Goods with the ordered Goods and the ordered quantity. If the Buyer finds that the shipment does not contain the appropriate amount of goods or that goods that do not correspond to the order were delivered, the Buyer must inform the Seller immediately, no later than on the day of receipt of the Goods, otherwise it is considered that the goods corresponding to the order, in the quantity corresponding to the order, were delivered. The Seller will contact the Buyer to arrange compensation for the missing goods.

 

6. Warranty and right of withdrawal

 

6.1. Before starting to use the purchased product, the Buyer must read the instructions for use of the product (if one is attached to the product). The product must be used in accordance with its manufacturer's instructions, according to the characteristics of the product and the intended purposes of use.

6.2. The warranty for the products offered by LatvianCrafts.lv is provided in accordance with the warranty service conditions set by the manufacturer of the product, but not less than 2 years.

6.3. If the Buyer has purchased a product with a defect, it is mandatory to contact the Seller to agree on the exchange of the product.

6.4. It is the buyer's responsibility to keep and not damage the original packaging of the ordered item.

6.5. According to the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, the Buyer can exercise the right of withdrawal and unilaterally withdraw from the distance contract within 14 calendar days and return the purchased product to the Seller. In LatvianCrafts.lv section "X", the Buyer can electronically fill out and submit the cancellation form.[5]

6.6. The seller undertakes to refund the direct costs of the goods within 14 days from the day of receiving the "notice of refusal", including the costs of returning the goods (Postal, Omniva, etc. services). The Seller has the right to withhold the refund to the Buyer until the product or its shipping documents are received.

 

6.7. The consumer is responsible for the decrease in the value of the product if the product is used for a purpose other than to determine the nature, properties and operation of the product. The buyer has the right to check the characteristics of the product to the extent that it would be possible to do so in a regular store.

 

7. Final provisions

7.1. All disputes between the Seller and the Buyer are resolved through negotiations, if this is not possible - in accordance with the procedure established by law.

7.2. In case of non-compliance with the buyer's rights, it is possible to turn to the Consumer Rights and Protection Center (www.ptac.gov.lv)

2. General provisions

 

2.1. This privacy policy provides information on how personal data is collected and processed for the Customer using the website www.LatvianCrafts.lv (hereinafter - LatvianCrafts.lv). The customer is invited to carefully read this Privacy Policy before starting to use LatvianCrafts.lv services. If the Customer does not agree to this Privacy Policy, it is recommended not to use the website www.latviancrafts.lv.

 

2.2. SIA "Jūrmalas Studija" takes care of Clients' privacy and protection of personal data, respects Clients' rights to the legality of personal data processing in accordance with Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council on the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data and the Law on the Protection of Natural Persons' Data.

 

2.3. SIA "Jūrmalas Studija" has the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy at any time by publishing them on LatvianCrafts.lv.

 

3. Data covered by the Privacy Policy.

 

3.1. The privacy policy applies to data processing, regardless of the form or medium in which the Customer provides personal data (SIA "Jūrmalas studija" in the online store www.latviancrafts.lv, in paper or electronic format, or by telephone) and in which information systems or paper form they are are processed.

 

4. Data processing.

SIA "Jūrmalas Studija" processes the following data:

 

4.1. Customer's first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, gender, for registered users - system username;

4.2. Company name and details, if the Client is a legal entity;

4.3. Date of birth (at the Customer's choice);

4.4. Goods delivery address;

4.5. Customer's bank data;

4.6. Other information, if the Customer wants to provide it;

4.7. Product and purchase information;

4.8. Cookies (website browsing data) – data about LatvianCrafts.lv including the Customer's geographic location, type of internet browser, device used;

4.9. Date, time and volume of Internet browsing, location at the time of browsing;

 

5. Purposes of processing the client's personal data

 

5.1. SIA "Jūrmalas Studija" processes personal data to ensure high-quality, timely and customer-friendly service during order fulfillment and warranty, which includes:

5.1.1. Preparing and sending invoices;

5.1.2. Providing customer support and handling complaints related to the sold goods;

5.1.3. Customer payment and debt administration;

5.1.4. Informing the customer about news in the LatvianCrafts.lv product range and special offers;

5.2. SIA "Jūrmalas studija" processes personal data to ensure sufficient internal processes, document circulation, archiving and other processes.

5.3. SIA "Jūrmalas studija" processes personal data in order to develop the operation of LatvianCrafts.lv by conducting market analysis.

 

6. Obtaining the customer's personal data

 

SIA "Jūrmalas Studija" obtains the client's personal data:

 

6.1. When the customer visits, registers or makes purchases in the online store www.latviancrafts.lv;

6.2. When the customer purchases goods in the LatvianCrafts.lv warehouse in person;

6.3. Identifying the Customer when he contacts LatvianCrafts.lv by e-mail, social network or phone because he wants to receive any information about the goods, apply for a reservation of goods, make suggestions or lodge a complaint;

  6.4. When the customer participates in contests, lotteries or surveys announced by LatvianCrafts.lv.

 

 

7. Automated decision-making and profiling

 

7.1. In order to provide the Client with personalized content and recommendations, SIA "Jūrmalas Studija" uses automated data analysis and decision-making, including profiling. In profiling, the Customer's data is automated, grouped and analyzed in order to later adapt appropriate content to the Customer. In order to better determine the needs and interests of customers, the data can be categorized according to various characteristics, such as age, location, shopping habits, etc.

 

8. The customer's right to limit the processing of his data

 

8.1. The Customer has the right to object at any time to the processing of his personal data, which is based on the Customer's consent. The customer may not agree that his data is processed for direct marketing purposes and may refuse to receive commercial notices by writing to LatvianCrafts@LatvianCrafts.lv or by calling +37127894884. The requested changes will take effect within three working days.

8.2. If personal data is processed for the purpose of concluding a contract and/or providing a service, the Customer cannot receive the service (make a purchase) if the relevant personal data is not provided and it is not possible to process it.
